Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: October 6, 2026
Welcome to House of EU.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the House of EU website and your purchase of products from us. By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing any product from House of EU, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before placing your order.
1. About House of EU
House of EU is a fragrance and lifestyle brand offering its own range of fragrances and selected products through our website.
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, “House of EU,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to House of EU, while “you” and “customer” refer to the person accessing our website or placing an order.
2. House of EU Products
House of EU products are offered under the House of EU brand and are presented using House of EU product names, branding, packaging, and product descriptions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, products displayed on our website are not products manufactured, endorsed, sponsored, or officially distributed by unrelated third-party designer or fragrance brands.
Any references to fragrance inspiration, scent characteristics, fragrance families, notes, or comparisons that may appear in product descriptions are provided to help customers understand the character or profile of a fragrance and should not be interpreted as an endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or partnership with another brand.
3. Product Sourcing and Production
House of EU works with suppliers, manufacturers, and other business partners involved in producing, sourcing, packaging, and supplying products for the House of EU brand.
Our products may be sourced or produced through partners located in different countries, including countries in Asia and Europe.
We select our products and production partners based on factors including:
- Product quality
- Supplier and manufacturing standards
- Product performance
- Customer experience
- Availability
- Value
- Sourcing opportunities
- Pricing and overall product quality
Our suppliers, production partners, ingredients, packaging, product specifications, and other aspects of our products may change from time to time as we improve our products and operations.
4. Product Pricing
The prices displayed on House of EU reflect the price at which our products are offered to customers.
Our pricing may reflect costs associated with product development, sourcing, production, packaging, logistics, shipping, import-related expenses, currency fluctuations, marketing, and our operating costs.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
However, a price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.
Where applicable, delivery charges and other applicable charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
5. Use of Our Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activities.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems, or accounts.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the website.
- Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
- Use our website or content in a way that could harm House of EU or other customers.
- Attempt to copy, reproduce, scrape, or commercially exploit our website content without permission.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
6. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, prices, availability, specifications, sizes, fragrance descriptions, and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, product colours and visual appearance may vary depending on your device, screen settings, lighting, photography, and other factors.
Product images are intended to provide a visual representation of our products and may not always reflect every minor variation in physical packaging, printing, colour, or presentation.
House of EU may update product descriptions, packaging, ingredients, specifications, fragrance compositions, or other product details from time to time.
We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update product information when necessary.
Fragrance Experience
Fragrance is inherently personal, and how a fragrance smells may vary from person to person depending on individual skin chemistry, body temperature, environment, application method, and other factors.
Descriptions of fragrance notes, character, strength, longevity, or overall scent profile are provided as general guidance and are not a guarantee of how a fragrance will smell or perform on every individual.
A customer’s personal preference or dissatisfaction with the scent of a fragrance does not constitute a product defect.
7. Product Availability
Products displayed on our website are subject to availability.
Adding a product to your cart does not guarantee that the product will remain available until checkout or payment is completed.
If an ordered product becomes unavailable after your order has been placed, we will contact you regarding the available options.
8. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are requesting to purchase the selected products from House of EU.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during checkout is accurate and complete, including:
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Delivery address
- City and state
- Selected products
- Product quantities
- Any other information required to fulfil your order
Please carefully review your order before completing payment.
Once an order has been accepted and processed, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
9. Order Confirmation
After placing an order, you may receive an order confirmation by email, SMS, WhatsApp, or another available communication channel.
An order confirmation confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been dispatched.
We reserve the right to cancel an order where necessary, including where:
- A product is unavailable.
- There is an obvious pricing or product information error.
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
- The order cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
- There is an error in the delivery information provided.
Where House of EU cancels a paid order and a refund is required, the applicable refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our refund procedures.
10. Order Changes and Cancellation
Because orders may enter processing shortly after payment, we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled after it has been placed.
Please review your order carefully before completing payment.
Once an order has been processed, packed, dispatched, or otherwise committed for fulfilment, cancellation or modification may no longer be possible.
This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
11. Delivery
We use third-party logistics and courier providers to deliver orders.
Estimated delivery timelines are provided for guidance and may vary depending on:
- Your location
- Product availability
- Order processing
- Logistics operations
- Public holidays
- Weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control
- Other unforeseen circumstances
An estimated delivery date is not a guaranteed delivery date unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and being available to receive their orders.
12. Delivery Delays and Failed Deliveries
House of EU is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including delays caused by logistics providers, incorrect addresses, unavailable recipients, weather, public holidays, government restrictions, customs-related delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where a delivery attempt fails because of information or circumstances attributable to the customer, additional delivery or logistics charges may apply.
Refusal to accept an order does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund.
13. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers are encouraged to inspect their order as soon as it is received.
If you believe you have received the wrong product or a product that arrived damaged, you must contact House of EU within 24 hours of receiving the order.
We may request clear photographs or videos of the product, packaging, shipping label, or other relevant information to help us investigate the issue.
14. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Our Returns & Exchange Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
All sales are final.
House of EU does not accept returns or exchanges.
We do not provide refunds because a customer:
- Changes their mind.
- No longer wants the product.
- Chooses a different fragrance.
- Does not like the fragrance.
- Finds another fragrance they prefer.
- Is dissatisfied with the fragrance based on personal taste.
- Orders the wrong size or quantity.
- No longer wishes to accept the stated delivery timeline.
Because fragrance is a personal preference, customers are responsible for reviewing available product information carefully before placing an order.
Simply disliking a fragrance does not qualify as a product defect and does not entitle the customer to a return, exchange, or refund.
15. Damaged or Incorrect Products
While House of EU takes reasonable care to inspect and package orders before dispatch, if you receive an item that is incorrect or arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
We may request:
- Photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging
- Photographs of the shipping label
- Videos showing the issue
- Your order details
- Other information reasonably necessary to investigate the matter
Do not send any product back without first contacting House of EU and receiving instructions from us.
If an issue is verified, House of EU will determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any mandatory consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.
16. Payment
Payment must be successfully completed through the payment methods made available at checkout before an order can be processed, unless otherwise expressly agreed by House of EU.
We may use third-party payment processors to process payments.
House of EU does not intentionally store complete debit or credit card information submitted through third-party payment processors.
Your use of a third-party payment service may also be subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.
17. Promotions, Discounts & Offers
Promotional offers, discounts, coupons, sales, and special offers may be subject to additional terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Promotions cannot be combined with other offers.
- Promotional offers are subject to availability.
- Promotional pricing only applies during the stated promotional period.
- A promotion cannot be applied retroactively to an order placed before the promotion began.
- Certain products may be excluded from promotions.
Where a promotional offer has specific terms, those terms will apply to the relevant promotion.
18. Gift Cards, Store Credits & Vouchers
Where House of EU offers gift cards, store credits, vouchers, or similar promotional instruments, additional terms may apply.
Such credits or vouchers may not be exchanged for cash unless required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel vouchers or promotional codes that have been obtained fraudulently, duplicated, altered, or used in violation of their applicable terms.

Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, payment providers, logistics providers, social media platforms, analytics services, or other third-party services.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of third-party services.
Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.
22. Privacy
Your use of our website and our collection and processing of personal information are also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to the website for maintenance, security, updates, technical issues, or other legitimate reasons.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, House of EU will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including third-party logistics delays, website interruptions, telecommunications failures, supplier or production disruptions, or other events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
25. Force Majeure
We will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations where the failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, government actions, civil disturbances, strikes, transportation disruptions, telecommunications failures, supplier or production disruptions, customs delays, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
26. Fraud and Unauthorised Transactions
We reserve the right to investigate, suspend, reject, or cancel transactions that we reasonably believe may involve fraud, unauthorised payment methods, abuse of promotions, false information, or other unlawful activity.
Where required or permitted by law, relevant information may be shared with appropriate payment providers, logistics providers, law enforcement authorities, regulators, or other relevant parties.
27. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer rights or remedies available under applicable Nigerian law.
28. Disputes and Complaints
If you have a complaint or concern regarding an order or our services, please contact House of EU first so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.
We will make reasonable efforts to address legitimate complaints fairly and promptly.
Consumers may also have rights to seek redress through applicable regulatory or legal channels.
29. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, services, website, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the website after an updated version is published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions, to the extent permitted by law.
